Jack began boating at the age of 12 with his first ski boat and sunfish sailboat. After spending four years living on a 42 foot ketch sailboat in New York Harbor, he set sail for Bermuda and the Caribbean. 8 months later and after passing through the Panama Canal he sailed into San Diego Bay in 1998. The decision to help others enjoy the boating lifestyle came easy and he began working for H&S Yacht Sales in Marina del Ray.

Three years later he opened and managed United Yacht Sales on Shelter Island in San Diego and in 2005 opened his own brokerage and yacht dealership, Southern California Yacht Sales on Harbor Island. He is very pleased to have such a hard working and successful sales staff. In the last 9 years over 500 boats have been bought or sold through his offices under his watchful attention. Todd has spent the last 6 years working in the Marine industry, delivering Yachts, Racing Sailboats, Managing & consulting on Cruising Yacht projects, and Commissioning New Tartan and C&C sailboats.

Todd is an avid fisherman, and Sailor. He participates in both, on most weekends. Having managed retail operations and industry tradeshows, He understands the importance of high level of customer service. And prides him self in detailed, quality workmanship.

Jason grew up in Annapolis Maryland, sailing and racing on the Chesapeake Bay. In 1991 Jason left a career in Computer Networking to pursue his love of boats and being on the water. In Annapolis Jason worked for a new boat dealer selling Pacific Seacraft, Tartan, Melges and Nonsuch sailboats. During this time Jason completed many north-south yacht deliveries from Florida to Maryland and points north.

In 1995 Jason moved to California to join a new boat dealer in San Diego that specialized in cruising boats. As a dealer for Island Packet, Grand Banks and Corsair – Jason continued to develop his knowledge and understanding of cruising designs and the cruising lifestyle. In 2001 Jason moved his business to Newport Beach and sold large motoryachts built by WestBay Sonship. Since moving to California Jason has completed yacht transactions from Canada to Mexico and from Florida to Maine.

Jason has owned both power and sailboats, and has an excellent understanding of yacht systems and boats up to 100’. Jason joined Southern California Yacht Sales in December 2006. Southern California Yacht sales is a new boat dealer for Tartan and C&C sailboats, but that doesn’t limit us from selling power too!

Growing up in Seattle, Jay spent of lot of his time growing up sailing on Puget Sound and exploring the San Juan Islands. HIs first job was as a ski instructor. Earning a bachelor of science in aviation from Arizona State University, he spent his initial years after college as a pilot. During that time he sailed and raced along various parts of the west coast. After spending a year and a half on the south shore of Oahu while working for an airline in Hawaii, his sailboat racing habit started to get out of hand. Dorothy has enjoyed being in the marine industry since 1987 with experience in financing, insurance, office managing, marketing, service department, as well as her current and favorite job of selling new and pre-owned power and sailboats. Her goal is to make your yacht buying or selling experience a pleasant one, and to create a long term relationship, rather than a one time deal. Greg's love for the water and pretty well all things aquatic took shape at an early age. His father was a merchant Marine during WWII and the stories of being torpedoed off New York and riding out the English Channel at D Day to tales of crew smuggling animals of all kinds on board the various ships that he sailed on throughout the world. Greg stays active in the Southern California Sail racing scene in San Diego and Long Beach, and is a regular volunteer captain with U.S. Sailing Foundation's disabled Children and adult sailing programs.
