Tartan Yachts

The new Tartan 3400 is both a tribute to the rich history of her predecessors and the embodiment of Tartan Yachts' dedication to advanced construction and equipment technologies.

When Tartan's designer, Tim Jackett, set out to create the latest in a long line of excellent 37-footers from Tartan, he thought past the “usual” approach to the performance/accommodation puzzle to arrive at a number of “wow, that's the way to go”-style solutions. The result is a fast and stable performance cruising yacht with an uncommonly welcoming and functional interior.

Walking down the dock, the 3700 CCR's rig stands out from the crowd.  A carbon fiber engineering showpiece, the lofty tapered rig sports an integrally molded, strong and lightweight masthead and crane.  Her double spreader rig is stronger, stiffer, and lighter than an aluminum mast.

Some cruising boats are at their best in the dealer's parking lot. Not the Tartan 4100, which is at her best either romping into a stiff sou'wester or anchored sedately in your favorite harbor.  In either situation you'll appreciate the mobility of the T-shaped cockpit, the clear visibility afforded from behind the 44-inch wheel, and the fact that the hefty Harken 53 self-tailing chrome primary winches are located within reach of the helm.

Traditional styling coupled with a hull and rig that are designed to deliver optimal cruising performance all in a very easy to sail yacht are the hallmarks of the Tartan 4300 design.  On the surface, the 4300 has all the design elements of classic American yacht design. 

Other builders offer raised salon and pilothouse cruisers, but the Tartan 4400 comes with two things you won't find elsewhere: Luxurious Tartan styling, and unmatched Tartan performance.

Following on the heels of the successful Tartan 4400, the 5100 expands on the possibilities offered by the raised saloon layout. Tartan's 5100 sports a very long sailing waterline and extremely clean hull form, promising fast passages and broader cruising range for the dedicated performance sailor.

Tartan is expanding on its award winning design and construction innovations in a new class of yacht.  The 5300 promises to provide great performance and ease of handling on an incredibly stable platform.  Her raised salon, center cockpit deck design offers excellent on deck visibility and security and provides the structure for her extensive interior arrangement plans.
